Dashboard Overview & Navigation Guide

This article explains how to use the Opta dashboard to monitor lead activity, customize your layout, and navigate the platform efficiently.

The Opta dashboard is where you land when you log in.

Here's a video walkthrough showing you everything you can do to customize it to suit your needs.

The dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of your lead flow performance. It includes:

Top Tiles

  • Total Leads – Number of leads received during the selected date range

  • Accepted / Rejected Leads – Count of leads successfully delivered vs. rejected

  • Earnings – Total revenue from sold leads (if you’re a seller)

  • Spend – Total cost of purchased leads (if you’re a buyer)

  • Margin – Earnings minus spend (shows zero if you’re only buying)


Graph View: Lead Activity Over Time

The chart shows total lead volume by day. Hover over any point to view the lead count for that date.


Revenue Breakdown Tables

Below the graph are three tables showing your top revenue drivers:

  • Top Publishers – Lead sources earning the most revenue

  • Top Advertisers – Buyers generating the most revenue

  • Top Campaigns – Campaigns responsible for the highest revenue


Dashboard Customization Options

Click the gear icon in the top right to configure your dashboard view:

  • Age Breakdown – Age distribution of leads

  • Average Age – Average age across all leads

  • Operating System – Breakdown by OS

  • Gender – Breakdown by gender

  • Device Type – Breakdown by desktop vs. mobile

  • Campaign Verticals – Vertical/category of each campaign

You can drag to rearrange widgets or remove anything irrelevant to your business.


“My Stats Only” Toggle

If you manage specific campaigns or work on a team:

  • Enable My Stats Only to filter the dashboard to just your campaign data

  • Useful for sales reps or account owners who don’t need to see the full org’s data


Bookmarks

Bookmarks are quick links to frequently used pages:

  • Up to 5 active at a time

  • To update, delete an old one and add a new page

  • Click a bookmark to instantly jump to that page


Help Center Access

Available from the dashboard menu and the support chat.

  • Articles and videos (including this one) on using Opta

  • API documentation for integrations or custom reporting

  • Live chat for support, including previous conversations


Global Search Bar

The fastest way to navigate the platform:

  • Available from any page

  • Shortcut: Command + K

  • Type any page name (e.g. “Campaign List”) to jump directly
