Lead Logs

Overview

Lead Logs is a powerful tool in Opta that allows you to track, search, and analyze your lead data. Use it to troubleshoot specific leads, monitor campaign performance, and export lead information for further analysis.

  • Search leads by multiple criteria (campaign, source, ID, email, phone)

  • View detailed lead history and routing information

  • Filter by lead status (accepted, rejected)

How to Use Lead Logs

Searching for Leads

You can search for leads using several methods:

  • By Campaign or Source: View all leads for a specific campaign or source

  • By Lead Identifier:

    • Opta Lead ID

    • Email address

    • Phone number

  • By Date Range: Filter results to specific time periods

  • By Status:

    • Accepted leads

    • Delivery rejects

    • Opta rejects

  • By Lead Type: Live vs. test leads

Understanding the Lead Overview

When you run a search, you'll see a summary view showing:

  • Campaign Information:

    • Status (active/inactive)

    • Campaign name and ID

    • Campaign type (e.g., direct post)

    • Routing method (e.g., send to all, single buyer)

  • Lead Statistics:

    • Total leads received

    • Number accepted

    • Number rejected

Viewing Lead Details

Each row in the results represents a specific lead and displays:

  • Opta Lead ID

  • Acceptance status

  • Source

  • Buyer destination

  • Basic lead data

Searching for Specific Information

Example: Finding an email across campaigns

  1. Enter the email address in the search field

  2. Set your date range (e.g., last 30 days)

  3. Click search

  4. View all campaigns where that email appears

  5. Click into individual leads to see complete history

Exporting Lead Data

To export lead information:

  1. Select your campaign and date range

  2. Click the Export button

  3. Choose export options:

    • Current View: Exports only the leads shown on screen

    • All Leads: Exports all leads matching your filters

  4. Select which fields to include

  5. Click Export

The system will download a file named with your campaign name and ID containing all selected fields.
